The main component of all seating by Karup Design are the futon mattresses. For this purpose, the fabric waste from textile production is used for the sofa bed mattresses, which have been tested by TÜV Rheinland to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. These consist of cotton, polyester, threads and fabric scraps. A core of polyfoam in the mattress makes the comfort of sitting and sleeping firmer and comfortable at the same time.
