Learning finger skills for life with plug-in and stacking games

Children are little explorers. Everything has to be examined in detail. Of course, it's especially practical if the little ones can learn something along the way.

Stacking towers, stacking cubes, ring towers, wooden building blocks and plug-in games are a lot of fun on the one hand, and on the other hand, your child can do something for his or her brain. For example, the little ones gain experience in how to solve (for them) complicated tasks. They have to recognize logical connections and try to implement them in such a way that they arrive at a result with which they are satisfied. Because what is easy for us adults is extremely strenuous for young children. They first have to understand, for example, how to stack correctly so that the tower doesn't topple over right away, or how to play with blocks and the various shapes.

Building upwards with wooden blocks, stacking towers & co.

Building upwards is not so easy! Ring towers are a good way for babies to start stacking up: Brightly colored wooden rings are placed on top of each other on a wooden stick that is in the middle. This trains fine motor skills and logical thinking, and the little ones get to grips with different colors as well as the different sizes of the wooden rings.
A step up from the ring tower are wooden blocks, stacking cubes and wooden blocks. Small children first have to learn how this works with size relationships. Because as soon as a larger block is placed on top of a smaller one, it is of course not as stable as vice versa. The little ones are not yet motorically fit enough to be able to stack the blocks on top of each other without any problems - a sure instinct and patience are required and must first be practiced or learned. Handling building blocks is also a great challenge for hand-eye coordination.
But you will see: As soon as the first tower is finally built, the young builders won't be able to stop beaming because they are so proud of their work. And then the towers can't be built high enough!
Some of the wooden blocks and stacking cubes that you can find here at 123moebel.de are also printed with numbers and letters, so that children are introduced to numbers and the alphabet in addition to the different colors, shapes and sizes.

What fits where? Get to know different shapes with plug-in toys

With the plug-in toys that we at 123moebel.de offer from JaBaDaBaDo, Kids Concept, Lifetime and Little Dutch, among others, children really have to rack their brains. Which shape belongs in which opening? Does the round fit into the square? In addition, children learn to better classify places with push-fit toys: Where is up and where is down? What goes in and what goes out?
But that's not all: We at 123moebel.de also have truck pegging games for your children, where it's not just about distinguishing shapes, but also colors, the different number of pegging rings and the resulting height play an important role. For little train fans, we offer wooden trains to plug together. Here, little train drivers can demonstrate their dexterity.

The ideal promotion with the right toys

Babies and children learn automatically when they play. However, fun should always be in the foreground. With consciously and lovingly selected toys you do your child the biggest favor. The little ones don't need plastic toys that quickly run out of batteries due to loud music and annoying sounds - less is more! Wooden toys live from their material, their special character, their reduction to the essentials, their durability.
The main thing is that the toy is appropriate for the age of the child and that he or she can record the first secrets of success when playing with it. Because this is pure motivation and fun!
Most children have acquired the basic motor skills by the age of about seven - after that, they merely refine them. Nevertheless, it's important to keep in mind that every child is different: For some, it goes faster, while others take a little more time.
