A cuddly baby towel belongs to every bath

Get out of the tub! Noooooooo!!!!!!!

Most babies and toddlers are real water rats. They would love to splash around in the tub for hours. But before webbed toes and fingers grow, it's better to take the little ones out of the water. But as a parent, you know it won't be easy! The grumbling and shouting can get quite loud ...
On the one hand, because the little ones don't want to get out of the bathtub, and on the other hand, because it's not as nice and warm outside the water. Goosebumps alarm is announced, even if the bathroom is heated.

After splashing around, quickly snuggle into the towel!

To prevent tears from forming, make sure that your child is already looking forward to being wrapped up in a cuddly towel. We at 123moebel.de have a nice selection of baby towels.

Practical: Towels to slip into and with hoods

It will be especially warm and cozy if your child can really slip into the towel, as is possible with towel ponchos. But hooded towels and hoodies are also ideal for wrapping up.
With all three variants, it is a great advantage that the child's head is also covered, because this is particularly sensitive to temperature, especially with the youngest children - especially when the hair is still wet after an extensive bath. Babies, for example, love to be wrapped up, such as when they are swaddled, because they still know this secure feeling from their time in their mother's tummy.
For toddlers, towels to slip into are practical because they are not restricted in their movements.
Not only at home, but also on a family trip to the swimming pool, indoor pool or fun pool, it is practical to have a towel with a hood or a towel poncho. After all, what could be cozier than having your child snuggled up on a lounger in a towel, hands free to munch on cookies or flip through a picture book?

Baby bathing made easy

Especially new parents are initially unsure how to hold the baby during the first bath and what should be considered. We at 123moebel.de have some tips for you:

The first bath at home should only take place when the navel has fallen off and healed completely. Because this minimizes the risk of the wound becoming infected.
Always have everything at hand for the baby bath: Towel, washcloth, a mild bath additive, diaper, romper suit or clothes for afterwards. Not to forget, of course, the baby!
For babies, a baby bathtub or bath bucket is suitable, as the tiny ones feel more comfortable in limited space. And to all parents: Your back will thank you!
The ideal water temperature is 35 to 37 degrees (a baby's normal body temperature is between 36.5 and 37.5 degrees). Take a thermometer to help you measure.
When washing the hair of older children, it is always very helpful to first run the water out of the child's reach for a while and feel the water temperature yourself on your hand or arm. It is always best to wash hair at the end of a bath so that the little ones' heads do not cool down.
For babies: let the little one lie in your left arm and slowly slide into the water, your baby's head should be supported in the crook of your arm, your left hand embraces the left side of the child's body. Your right hand is under the baby's bottom (for left-handed people, it's the other way around).
When lifting out, support the baby's head and neck, with the other hand holding the bottom.
Whatever the age of your child: Please never leave him or her unattended in the water for even a second! This can lead to dangerous accidents even in the bathtub with a low water level.
Pad the child dry after bathing. Many babies and toddlers enjoy being rubbed with a light massage. This is good for the little one's delicate skin and can become a nice ritual.
